Welcome Sanjo!

Welcome Sanjo!

Dear to the publicSanjo Sanjo now arrives at VEIN

We recognize it for its indiscreet Lusitanity and the quality that each pair exudes. Despite having new models, the silhouettes of the K100 and K200 are timeless.

The first Portuguese brand of sneakers was born in 1933, in São João da Madeira, which was also the inspiration for the brand's name.

Sanjo has shaped itself to the times and shaped the contours of Portuguese identity and design.

In the 50s, 60s and 70s Sanjo became the official sportswear brand in Portugal, as the Sanjoanense football team wore them, like so many other teams.

In 1974, without import barriers and with the Portuguese markets opened, the brand tried to compete internationally, without success, and in 1996 it closed its doors.

A year later it was purchased, and efforts were made to recover the lost mold of the K100 and K200silhouettes.

The non-production of vulcanized rubber soles in Portugal made Sanjo consider China.

NHowever, its Portuguese spirit brought Sanjo back home, this time in a collaboration with a factory in Felgueiras, thus honoring a 100% Portuguese production.
